About Department

The Department of Economics started functioning in 1977 with History ,Economics, and political science combination and was elevated to the status of a Post Graduate in 2005.BA computers started functioning in 2019..The Department is proud of former faculty those who have got various positions at state universities. The Department is proud of who have The students both UG and PG have been bringing laurels to the department every year through distinctions in University examinations. The Department is also proud of it Alumni who have passed UGC NET/,SET etc and placed as teaching faculties and research scholars in reputed institutions in state.

4 Motivate the students to reach higher levels of learning and give good guidance to students for employment facilities in economics.

5 Conduct economic survey and giving suggestions to rural folk to improve their affordable expenditure.
