About N.C.C

After 25 years of establishment of this college nobody took interest to start N.C.C. unit in this college, thus depriving the students to have this facility.
Effective steps to overcome this was taken and the N.C.C. Directorate New Delhi was addressed for starting of N.C.C. unit in this college. Representations were submitted to Hon’ble. Minister of Home affairs Govt. of Andhra Pradesh through the local M.L.A and Former Minister of Commercial Taxes for this speedy sanction of the unit. Our efforts bore fruits and the N.C.C. Directorate accepted our plea in principle and gave necessary instructions to battalion headquarters at Mchilipatnam to inspect the college. Inspection team from the battalion headquarters visited our college and satisfied with the infrastructure available in the college and recommended for the starting pf the unit from the academic year 2002-2003.Positive orders are expected anytime in this regard. Sri.S.Jagan mohanarao Lecturer in political Science the eligible Lecture to undergo N.C.C. training gave his acceptance to be the unit officer and to go for training.
